Piper’s Story

Piper Lipscomb

Piper is a young hornist that is eagar to learn more and more about the horn. Since Piper began horn camp, we have seen her:

• Make new Horn Friends throughout the DFW Metroplex

• Become a natural leader by example in Horn Quartets

• Participate in Mass Horn Choirs

• Connect Music Theory with Horn (i.e., naming diminished 7th chords in her All-State Music)

• Compose narratives about the History of the Horn and why it is called “French"

To say Piper has learned a lot from Horn Camp & her experiences on the horn is an understatement!

Piper hopes to return to Horn Camp each summer to always continue learning!
